Maybe Steve was overwhelmed with all of our orders he accidently forgot to do a QC check I am sure when you get the new ones they will look better than you expected, I know mine did!!

Good Luck!
Yeah, I was sorry to see them like that. Someone looking over my shoulder from a distance even said "WTF is wrong with those"...at that point I just frowned. He did mention he has been swamped since you started this Like I said, I have no worries or doubts in Steve and his products (my FX4 badge is pimp as you know what) and his service with me has been top notch so in no way do I regret doing business with him, that thought never crossed my mind once. I know how things "slip" through sometimes, and I'm very understanding so I'm sure that helped. I look forward to getting them (once again). I damn near drool all day on this FX4 badge

Need a little help here. I went and measured my tailgate badge "F-150" and it came out to 1 3/4" x 7 7/8's (roughly)? Are you ordering the Standard replacement badges at 2.5" x 8.75" and just dealing with having a bit larger badge? No issue for me - just wanted to get my order right.

thx

Yes Hotlap, because most people adding their own "tagline" to the bottom of the badge which wasn't there to begin with on the tailgate, thus making them like the side badges. Plus, the little bit extra size on the tailgate takes away from the "billboard-i-ness" if that's a word.

Got my badges back from Steve, and let me first say, his service and product is first rate - something all of us around here like. He took care of my questions/problems a.s.a.p. and went well above the norm as far as I'm concerned. The badges look gorgeous, however I'm a$$ deep in my header install so they don't get put on until that beast of a project is done.

Well, let me tell you it is an easy install. Especially compared to headers.

Pretty Easy. Directions are good. Fishing line twisted to make a saw to get behind the badge. Hair dryer to loosen adhesive so you can get line behind. My advice is to cut as much as you can with the line. I did my first one. Then teh second one I figured I could do more heating and peeling. Got the badge off quicker but left more adhesive on the truck, which was teh hardest thing for me to remove.

I'm not criticing your choice to put "Git R Done" on your badge but be careful of "trendy" phrases like that. Kinda like if you see a truck driving around with "STOMPER" acrossed the top of the windshield of their 4X4 or those cheesy "No Fear" stickers. Yeah, to some those were "cool" ( to some ) when they put them on but now... well, not so cool. This is just my input on your idea so if you like "Git R Done", then go for it.
