Here is the email I got from Steve at Billetbadges concerning group buys.

I have offered group buys in the past. When I offer group buys, it will be on one style badge like the "FX4 Off Road" badge. The problem is that most people seem to want something unique for their own truck. That defeats the purpose of the group buy. I would need an order of at least 25 of the same badge to qualify. If there is enough intrest, I will knock $12 off the price of the badge. But realize, they will need to be all the same. Let me know what design the group would like and we can go from there. Talk to you soon.

I know that most people want their "own saying" on the sides but maybe 25 people would like the FX4 Off Road on the back. If there is enough interest in the same badge then lets get this thing going. My tailgate feels naked.

Ok here is what I have in the works. Which do you like better? The first one is the rendering I received and the second picture is what I came up with with a little tweaking.

My personal opinion is #2.

The first one appears to be to busy...

That is what I am looking for, however I think that will only look good on the sides. The back will be to redundant....Badge on left saying F150 FX4 Offroad and then badge on the other side saying FX4 Off Road. Does this make sense?

Yea, I wouldnt put it on the rear. You may want to leave the standard F-150 on the tailgate BUT add the same FX4 that I have.

Sal,

Exactly....Is there anyone here interested in doing a group order. Reference my post up towards the top of this page. A $12 discount per badge is substantial when you are ordering 3 or 4 badges.

I think there was a thread about a group order but I dont know what happened. This particular rendering may be better for a group order since you would need to replace each fender badge instead of just one for the tailgate. You may want to see if Steve at Billet Badges can make this one first and then ask the forums about a group order. What do you think?

Mine were easy to remove, I just pulled them right off! But there are instructions with your new badges.

I just removed the factory "4X4" stickers from the sides of my '05 Lariat Screw and would like to change the rear tailgate "F-150" emblem out for a same sized/look "4X4" emblem.....wonder if Steve could do that??

Sal,

After looking at what he has done on his website, there is no doubt he can do those. He used the one you got FX4 Off Road as an example of what we could get a group order on since most people have there "own" design to put on the sides whereas the one you have on the right is more of a balancing out the tailgate "looks great though". I like the FX4 on the side badge. Looks nice. It wouldn't take but 13 people to get a discount with that one versus 25 people with the badge on the rear. I thought I would bring it up here since it seems most people that have had an interest visit this thread. I would send it to Steve to see if he would make it but like I said, by looking at his examples, this one seems like a piec of cake.

You're right, it should be a piece of cake for him Why not get the rendering from him on the new badge then start a new thread about the group order and go from there. That way everyone can see exactly what they will get!
