My wife bought me a superchip tuner for father's day, so i installed it yesterday on my 04 4.6 supercrew. I went with the 87 octance tune since thats what i currently had in the tank, so i really wasn't expecting that much. Man i cannot believe the difference with just the 87 tune. the truck downshifts alot harder and i feel that the truck is giving me 100% instead of 60%. Before the tune when i would go to pass someone, sometimes the truck wouldn't downshift into the right gear and so on. I cannot wait till i get to put the 93 octane tune in.

 

where'd she get it at? I may be in the market for a different tuner real soon.

 

bdavid, my wife did the same for me.. superchips tuner for my 5.4.. and wow is right. i ran a tank on the high perfomace tune 93 oct, and boy.. its nuts~..now i'm back down to the 87.. and its still nice~. i almost cant feel a difference between the two.. for my daily driving.. but i love it! and i love my wife.. great gift!

Hey bleppek, how long did it take for your tuner to ship? It's been almost 2 weeks for me and I really cant wait any longer for that Xcal 2 and Air-Force

 

Took 17 days to get the e-mail confirming shipping. A very long 17 days.

Ordered June 3rd and should get it tomorrow (June 22nd).
