Lightbulb Call me crazy!

I was cleaning the sill plates in my truck the other day when I started wondering why would Ford put the "F-150" sill plates on the front doors but not the back? Now what Im wondering is can you order these? How much? and how do they mount? It just makes sense to me that these should of came factory like this.

Because the person getting into the back seat isn't buying the truck.

It is not uncommon for couples (husband/ wife) to shop for vehicles together. Both will have a say in the purchase. If there is a third person getting into the back seat, it is statistically probable that the third person will not have any financial say in the purchase.

In other words, it's all just marketing. Ford doesn't give a crap if their trucks have logos on the rear door sills. They are catering to the person writing the check, the same as any other successful marketer.

Yep! ~$30 at your local stealership... and ~10 minutes for the install.

Come to think of it, I had chrome sill plates on a 98 f150 that had the ford logo in the center that lit up in neon blue when the door was opened.

I need a set with a red ford logo now.
