New Truck... Need bed cover

Well, new to the board, got my '05 FX4 SCrew last week. I'm looking for a tonneau cover. Most likely the vinyl type fron Lund or someone. Don't have the $$$ for the nice fiberglass lid. Question is, what do you guys have? A snap cover, or do any of you have the 'peel n seal' from Lund? How do you like them?

I have an Access Cover and love it. It is a roll up type, meaning the bows roll right up along with the cover. Takes 10 seconds to roll it up and another 10 to unroll it. Great look stays tight. Somewhat pricey, between $400-$425. Cold weather has no affect on it.
Oh yeah....welcome to the site .

I too have the Access cover and just love it. Had 14" of heavy snow on it this past winter with no problems. Cost me around $390.00 installed.

If you don't mind taking advice from someone driving a Chevy.... I could not be more satisfied with my Truxedo Lo Pro It is much like the Access covers mentioned, but seemed to have a little better warranty. I've had it about 6 weeks and couldn't be happier.

Here's the tonneau with tailgate closed

And with tailgate opened

Best of luck

Thanks for the replies, and photos... It helps to see the product ACTUALLY installed... I read somewhere on here about how long a truck stays stock... I gotta tell ya, I have a laundry list a mile long of things to add to my SCrew...

I wanted something hard shelled and more practical than fiberglass, so I went to the Fold-a-Cover. It's like the K-cover. Four aluminum panels, opens from front or rear, folds up to one panel, and can be removed by one person in about 5 minutes, or less.

I added electric remote opening to the front panel so I can pop it open by touching my 'trunk' button on my fob.
Most practical thing I have put on my truck.

I paid just over 500 for it, but prices do vary.

To make either lock remote unlocking costs 5-10 bucks, easy job.

I've had my Access Cover since 2001 and would highly recommend it.

I went with the Lund Tri-fold......and love it. I saw it at a local speed shop and really liked the look of it. It took about 30 minutes to install perfectly. I have not had a drop of water in the bed since, I was in a rainstorm this weekend doing 65mph and not a drop!! The best part was it was only $329

Welcome to the site. I'll also put a vote in for the Truxedo Lo Pro.

I found mine on E bay and it is a really nice cover for only $122.00 plus shipping, Fit was really good and I am pleased with the way it looks.
