Also something to think about

2006 MARK LT = old style fogs (rectangular)

2006 F-150 = new style fogs (round)

Could ford be using up all the old style fogs on the LT, or do they know it looks better and had to seperate the newest F150, by giving it the round fogs ?

Here is the original:

the original was a functional wing... not a ghey fashion statement.

We already knew this. You just brought up an old post from June? We already know about the changes, and have seen the 06' order guide listed online with all the major product changes/options. And member "screwbuilder" builds our trucks and said they were starting to build the new 06's as of last week.

WOW...do you guys NOT read any of the other posts??? I have seen the 06 in person, sat in it, sat with the salesman and almost bought one last weekend. They are out and have been on the lots for a couple of weeks now. Its basically the same truck with very little noticeable differences. The biggest and most noticeable difference is the round fog lights. I like them, I think they look pretty cool.

If you were wondering..it was an all white Lariat with chrome bumpers and tan leather interior I almost bought. Very nice looking all white (no two tone).

Winner Ford in Dover, DE has some 06s. I checked them out this past weekend. Nothing special as far as I could tell. It didn't have anything that would compel me to go trade for one. Just my opinion.

I hear that there is supposed to be an E85 5.4 late in the model year.....im mostly excited about that option and i must agree with those who like the round fog lights...i think they do like nice....but maybe its just because they are new.....if they were optional i would prolly stick with the rectangular anyways just because it fits the boxy contour of the truck.

Can the 06 integrated satellite radio h/u be swapped into an 05 Screw FX4?? Any idea what it would cost when not part of an option upgrade?

I would bet that you can, but you would have to add an antenna

they should be on Ebay pretty soon, just look at what the current h/u are running it should be pretty close in price

deltascrew, did you find out any more info on your new truck? My truck is supposed to be built next week, August 29th in Dearborn, with an expected arrival September 12. Hopefully it gets built early in the week and it gets here even sooner. I can't wait....

I will be placing an order in the next week or two for an FX4 Supercrew. I was looking at an 05 that had all the options and was supposed to go test drive it, but it looks like it was sold as it isn't listed in their inventory anymore.

So, it looks like the only cool change for '06 is the 6.5' bed on the SC! The round fogs look nice. I really don't care...my '05 SC XLT is fogless!

Go longbed!
