Mark LT Handles DSG Installed!

I finally finished installing my Mark LT handles in DSG today. Ran into some problems so it took me longer than expected. I couldn't figure out how to take the door panel off the back doors. I know now after destroying one of my speaker panels. I will post modified instructions soon on how I took off the door panels and installation of the handles/buckets.

I think the new LT handles look so good on our F-150's. I haven't seen one yet that I didn't like.

Dang man, that looks good!

I have a DSG Scab, and am looking into this now. How much did that run you?

I ended up paying a little extra than I wanted to. I jumped the gun before fully looking into prices that Ford Parts Network was offering. I paid around $320 for all four handles/buckets and the tailgate.

You can get all five pieces through Ford Parts network for around $225. Do a search on LT handles and you'll find a thread that lists the part numbers and prices that Ford Parts Network sells them for.

Thanks for the compliment.

Looks REALLY good baja!

If I didn't have a two tone truck, I'd already have them on mine too... I just don't think the black/chrome look will look right with the arizona beige... but that's just me... I think it looks killer on a solid vehicle.

Those look great. I'm still not sure how they'd look on mine but they might have to go on the wishlist sometime.

Looks awesome! I had to replace a rear speaker and heard about people breaking the speaker grilles so I did a search for "rear door panel removal" in 2004-2005 forums and came up with this.........

For SuperCab
For SuperCrew

Can't get much better than that!

I thought the same thing when I first read this post. I went and looked at my KR and the chrome detail on the front end seems like it would help "flow" the appearance if the LT handles were added - I wish they came in Dark Copper.

Where though? There's just so little chrome on our trucks as it is... Chrome detail? It's only around the Ford oval and the grille surround.... that's literally everything chrome on our truck (on the exterior).

I wish they came in copper too so I could see them on yours! LOL!

I wouldn't mind experimenting with the two tone piant with LT handles but I have to put in lineX, a rollup soft cover, and alarm with remote start first (two way pager version). The other problem is that I would have to have the buckets painted dark stone to match. But IMO the dark stone with Az beige would look sweet with the matching LT handles. Maybe I will play with photoshop and post some pics (be awhile tho, I move on tues).

Beige and chrome are just too similar (metallic flake)... I think that's my hang up with chrome and beige. Not sure...

I'm still anxious to see someone try it that has AZ Beige accents.

The wheel covers too... I'm like the rest of you - the black plastic handles are not very attractive.

I might try to photoshop a set of shiny chromes in to see what it "might" look like.
