ya it was spotless when i took it to the shop so he pretty quick im gonna shine it up...ya hood still shuts normal

I use simple green, wet the engine compartment spray simple green on let it sit for 5 minutes or so, rinse it off, wipe of engine with towels the spray a tire dressing on like tire wet wipe of residue your engine will look factory

That kicks ***, and is what I want to do to my truck along with some silver stripes down the hood. What kind of hood is that? Did you mod your existing hood? I've not been able to find a shaker hood for the '04-'05.

NOPE no check engine light...i got a hood from a guy on here for 50 bucks works great....stripes are coming soon

why did you have to get a hood? did you not want to punch a hole through the stocker?
