quietest MT tires

O.K, i have used the search button but i still dont have my question answered. What is the quietest ridding MT tire i can get. I have an 18 inch rim so im kinda limited to what i can get. I have herd good things about the toyo MT but over all, what is the quietest MT tire i can get. i do alot of road driving but when i go hunting it gets really really nasty and i hate getting stuck in my BFG AT. Help please

my experience has shown the Bridgestome Dueler M/T to be a great combination. Pretty darned good on the highway while giving a good mud/dirt bite. Now they are not the MOST aggressive muds out there, but thery dig quite well.
I had these on my old F-350 and they were hardly any louder than the Dueler A/T's that I had on my 4-Runner...until about 80 MPH, then they started to whoop it up. But still nothing like a swamper. I know for sure that they were quieter than the Goodyear and BFG muds, cuz i tried them both.
I have no ideas if they are available in your size.
Good luck.

From all the test I've read the Toyo MT is the quietest mud terrian available.

I was told today by a few tire shops that the Toyo Open Country MTs were noisey and weren't very good with wearing and that the Nitto Mud Grappler was a much better choice.

"MT" and "quiet" in the same sentence

You have it backwards. THe Toyo's are quiet and the Nitto Mud Grapplers are supposedly very loud.

Mud tires and quiet is sort of an oxymoron. You’ll probably end up with an acceptable compromise in the middle somewhere.

I just put the 33x12.50x20 Toyo M/T tires on my truck last Saturday and I feel that they are VERY quiet considering how aggressive they look! They made a big difference on how my truck looks also! I love them so far and they are a very popular tire here in Oregon!

I think it depends who is selling the tires to you. Both are going to have some noise. Pick the ones you think look good and are within your budget. You cant go wrong there.

Im glad people are buying tires based on looks rather than performance.

I was just telling you what I was told. It wasn't by one tire/wheel store but rather all 6 of them I went to.

i understand that MT tires are going to be louder then ATs, but there is a diffrence between a Bogger on the road and a toyo MT obviously, im just looking for something quiet on the road and to get me through the stickey stuff

You should consider swamper boggers.

The hum on those bad boys from 30-60 is horrendous!

A friend of mine has BFG muds on his truck, and IMO they aren't too bad.

I haven't had any experience with the Toyo's or Nitto's myself
