Warranty work; Dealer says no work order?
I have run into this problem no so long ago and I called the Ford customer service line and reported the dealer. Next day service manger called and said I could either pick up the RO or they would mail it. I know it's a pain to go thru all of that but I have learned never to take my truck with out a RO.
Since Ford has it recorded in the system any dealer in the country can run your VIN to find what kind of work has been done to your truck. I wouldn't worry about it to much but like a lot of people I would still want a copy from the dealership that did the repair.
The thing I am curious about after reading this thread is, are you receiving surveys about the warranty work that has been performed? I wonder if they won't give you the work order because it shows a different address on it. It's possible the dealership is receiving them and filling them out themselves. This is just one possibility, but something definately sounds weird about it. The service manager, shop foreman, and service writers salarys are influenced by good & bad surveys.
You should be receiving a copy though, there is no reason why they can't provide you with one, unless they don't have paper to print on.

I haven't gotten any paper work for my warranty work but I can go to the Ford website, log on to Myford.com and it shows what work was done and when. It also allows me to see my Ford Credit balance, the interest paid, the payments I have made and an up to date payoff. It also shows the regular service you have had done at the dealership and you can input your own information (if you had service elsewhere).
