Thumper I was joking by the way. But I still wouldn't lift it. Good luck!

Thumper, listen to him... you don't want anyone to think you are compensating for anything.

Sal,
Actually I'm just jealous because I'm driving a 2wd now. I treded the 01 4x4 for an 05 4x2. I just didn't use the 4x enough to justify having it. Nice rig btw!

Actually, tommy91 is right. You are gonna be the one driving it so do what you want. Although, it seems to me that you are more confused than a baby in a strip bar.

I would do the lift, it is something we all strive for inside, it makes you stand up tall and walk with some spring in your step, knowing you have one of the sweetest rides out there. It is a awesome feeling when you walk to your ride and everyone around is oowing and admiring what you put together. Man it feels good.
These trucks were made to be lifted. Why else would you put coil overs up front? Even the Super Dutys went to them.

Just my half cent..

But of course I am biased!

I agree 100%.

Now get on with it, lift your truck, and quit talking about it.

I already get enough crap about having the truck I do so I can only imagine what kind of crap I'd get about lifting it. Sure everyone admires it but they get jealous and I hate it.

Im just going to do the 3" lift that way I'll have a stiffer ride offroad and be able to enjoy some other stuff inside!

Thumper

A lift is a lift, ie body or suspension, your still going up.
They both will allow for bigger shoes.

Have fun and enjoy the ride.

Im not dead set against gears but I would barely have enough money for wheels, tires, and the lift I wanted. So that would leave me with no money.

this stuff IS expensive, no doubt. i plan to take $1k each year from my tax refund and stick it into the savings account. 4-5 years my factory tires will be worn and ready for new and my funds will be available. age has taught me patience.........
