New Lariet Wheels

I just bought some Lariet wheels and BF Goodrich tires set off ebay for my XLT Regular Cab. I think it was a heck of a deal $345 + shipping. 4 wheels and 4 tires...

Now I need to find some 25"ish tires for my 17" wheels... then head out to the drag strip.

I'll post some pics when I get em on.. Hopefully by friday.

That is a good price, but 25 inch tires?Wheel hop? or shudder? Hope not.
Do let me know how it turns out. When my 30.6 inch tires get a little wear, I have been thinking of going to 28.5 inch rubber.

Nah, I dont really want slicks. I'm gonna look around for a while for some small diameter dirt cheap tires. I just need 2.

I want a smaller diameter so it raises lowers my over all gear ratio. To make it feel like I have steeper gears out back.

Throwing on my nittos 275/45/17 gives me wheel hop. I'm designing some LFP/JDM type traction bars right now to help cure the problem.

Thats a 26.7" tire.. YOu think going smaller than that will give me wheel hop?

275/40/17.. My bad. Not sure if it will give you wheel hop, but I sure did.

275/40/17 is a 25.7" diameter btw.

Wow... $345 is a steal! You can't buy four new tires for that!

Thats was my thinking exactly...

I had been pricing 4 new tires for a few weeks now.. till I seen those..

You still have to add shipping cost to the $345.... Shipping from California to Kentucky... not too cheap...

Wheels and tires are kinda heavy.

I was looking at tires on ebay for my 17" wheels today.. OMG!
There are some serious STEALS on tires alone on ebay... Like $75 plus shipping on brand new tires!

Gimme a couple more pay checks and Im gettin some!

Do yourself a favor and buy some DR's for the back. A propper setup you can pull some 1.7 60' out of them.
