BUT....BUT....BUT------------------------

it was a B*TCH to install.... dont go running out and buying one thinking its a 10 min job....... took 45 mins and a dremel.

I ordered it even after i was told it would not fit but for $10.53 i wanted to see for myself..... I also said if it didnt fit i would make it.... well I MADE IT fit!!!! It looks SO much better!!!

Did you just install the shifter ****, or the entire shifter assembly? After seeing an LT myself, I could see why it might not work in an F150. The shifter button in an LT is kinda hinged at the top, only the bottom goes in when you push it to shift it in or out of gear, whereas on an F150, the whole button moves. I haven't taken either apart to see myself whether or not it'd work though.

I only installed the handle itself....

but you are correct. The way the LT one is designed... the button hinges at the top and the bottom goes in. The F-150... the button slides straight in- Have NO idea why they did that.

So don't keep us all in suspense...what kinda tinkering and modifying did it take to make the LT handle fit?
