Has anybody switched these out. The ones in the FX4 that light up the middle 4 gauges. I want to use some gauges from dakota digital that go where the ash tray is, but they only come in blue. Wondering if it is possible to change the color of those in the dash to match.

 

i believe steeda (i think) has a 3 gauge CF peice that replaces the ashtry for the flow-thru consoles

it would be really cool if it matched the carbon fiber better. as for gauges go with oil press. water temp, and egt if you have a tuner

 

That is what I plan on doing. The only problem is the guages I want only come in blue lighting. So I want to switch the ones in the dashboard to blue so it matches. Has anybody done this?

As for the gauges dakota digital makes a tire pressure, tranny temp., and 1 more im not sure yet.

 

There is 6 bulbs in the back of cluster, you can try changing them to blue, the thing with this is that the actual gauges have a green flim on the back. green + blue =

 

Anyone know what model number bulbs are in the back of cluster?

 

As for the 3 little gauges, you want them in red? Because I believe Cyberdyne makes digital gauges that come in red. I think you can buy them all over the internet. They may or may not have something you're looking for, but here is their homepage:

I do not want to change to color of all the guages. If you have an FX4 you will notice (when the lights are on) that the trim ring of the middle 4 gauges is lit up in red. Just the trim ring. That is what I am wanting to change.
