magnaflow

just purchased magnaflow duel side exit cat-back system on ebay.
can't wait to install it. the model is 15827. has anyone had experience installing cat backs? is it easy to do your self?
thanks for any info.

hey I got the same system. It's easy to install yourself, but an extra set of hands wouldn't hurt to get that big 'ole stock exhaust off. And then to help hold up the Magnaflow while you're tightening the bolts/clamp for it.

What box length do you have?
5.5', 6.5', 8.0'?

this is for stevevfx4: how does the magnaflow sound compared to the stock system?

oh, much louder! I think it is probably the loudest Magnaflow system due to the short side exit pipes and close proximity to the rear cab corner/window. But it's not that loud where it will annoy you though. I've gotten many compliments on the sound of it.

awesome! had flowmaster 40 series on 97 f-150, it sounded good. look foreward to getting this on. next on list is upgrade wheels and tires. i like the moto metal 950's. not sure of tires yet.
