Oh Oh I know this one!! Mods can ban/suspend/whatever an account seperate of IP and then if the idiot re-registers then they can bust out the 'ol IP ban as well. It's nice when the good members (read: me) register under differnet names to rile up others... er... not that I do that anymore after my first/second lashing...

I've owned many fords over the years. Both trucks and cars. I've also owned chebbys, pontiacs, and one olds. I've purchased just one import which was purchased back by nissan in 1985. It was a POS from the get go. I'll never own another. I'll keep this 05 F150 until someone somewhere makes a better vehicle. 28 yrs best selling truck in its class Best selling vehicle last year in Texas above all else Why has Ford sold the best selling truck for 28 years? Because Chevy, Dodge, Nissan, Toyota etc doesn't have a clue how to build trucks. Trying not to be to long winded here but let me tell yall a little story. Right out of high school back in 1980 I went to work for Brown and Root at a Exxon Plastics plant in Mt Belview <sp> Tx. They used mostly ford F150's. At the maintanence shop they also had 3 Chevy C1500's. All 3 were parked there because they had all broken down. Mostly front ends worn out with other problems. These Chevys had less then 10K miles on them. Most of the Fords there were around 5 yrs old with well over 100K on 300 CID 6 Cylinders with 3 speed column shift trannys. Most had never seen any suspension work needed or anything other then normal oil changes etc. When our shifts were done and we'd all walk out to the parking lot you would see at least 90% Fords out there. The point I'm trying to make here is that these guys that worked in the oil fields and needed dependability knew that they could only rely on Ford Trucks. I never did see any Nissan or Toyota or Dodges there. For the 2 years I was there I never saw those 3 Chevys out of the maintenence area and saw those old Fords being overloaded, Bounced around over unimproved terrible road conditions. Getting buried to the doors in mud and still running every day. Sorry for the long post but give me Fords or make me walk

I never said Ford trucks were bad Tex just my STX. I have a 74 150, a 78 Bronco, a 95 Ranger and this new truck. the only truck I ever got rid of was a 89 GMC. Maybe if I had gotton a cushy Truck like the rest of you in this forum own I would not have had the opinion I do. Also If Fords are so big by you, you need to travel to Lubbock where I'm from and explain to me where all those other trucks came from.

Ya right thumper. You are just looking to get another username and create some chaos. Start some titan threads just to get some people in an uproar. jk

hankcoen I have a 2004 STX reg cab, not a cushy truck. I love it. I have had a few trucks over the years, and this is the best.

This truck rides better, and handles better than any truck I have ever driven.

Price was right too.

To take a wack at the Nissan, I sat in one the other day. My head was in the headliner. The salesman said he could adjust it. Sure, recline the seat till I could see out... One reason I bought the F-150 is it's tall enough to see out of.
I'm only 6'3''. I have to run the seat all the way back, but I have plenty of head room in the Ford.

Chris

Oh, I wasn't shopping for a truck, my wife had somthing to do there, and I just sat in several trucks, to kill time.

In a somewhat related note..I sat in a Hummer H2 a few days back, I could actually sit upright and stick my head out of the sunroof...You'd think as big as that thing is, it would have more driver room than my friend's Jeep Liberty...but nope!
