In Channel window visor
I also have the VentVisor brand. At first I had a problem with my windows not rolling up all the way and a wee bit of wind noise. Then I actually adjusted the clips and did like the instructions said and used a putty knife to push the clips all the way back into the channel and the noise went away and the windows went all the way back up. I think it's also important to let them sit overnight before you use them, that way they seat properly.
It rains well over 50 inches a year here so having these things is a must during the summer.

I've got stick ons, but the noise factor is absolutely zero. In-channel ones MUST be quieter.
Kinda strange. In my 2003 the noise difference was obvious. In my new-style 2004 crew cab, there is absolutely zero noice.

I have the Auto Vent Shade Quik Snap in-channel type. They don't have any adhesive to fool with, they slip into the channel and are held by wedges which fit into the channel. The wedges let the window pass through them and don't interfere with anything. Wind noise only increased slightly but I have compensated for it by adding Maganflow dual exhaust system!
I love them and have had great luck with them so far. Your mileage may vary.

I just ordered a set of AVS In-Channel Ventvisor (part# 194443) from Advance Auto Parts at a cost of $48.80 + tax. They’re the ones that stick on with tape and clips on either end. hope they're not noisy

Took some convincing to get him to paint it silver though!
