I just had my front rotors replace around 9k miles. They still squeak, squeal, and chirp. Brought this up to the dealer the other day while he was test driving my truck for this reason, he said the brakes will always make some kinda noise.

I have 20K miles on my truck and my brakes have been squealing BAD for the past 6K miles. I took it to the dealership on Monday and picked it up on Wednesday. They deglazed the front pads and turned the rotors. Thursday afternoon, "squeak squeak squeak."

What a bunch of crap.

Other than an over abundance of brake dust, I have no issues with the brakes on my Screw.

I've never had any break troubles. Well... Except for break dust. As far as the breaks themselves as in the quality of stopping... they are the best I've ever stopped with.

Keep on them about your brakes.....or find another dealer to go to. 20k on my Screw and they're going strong. (other than the dust)

No noise or warping issues with mine. But the front rotors are heavily grooved and the brake dust is horrible.

acually, no noise coming from my brakes, just to much darn brake dust on the front rims, but I'll take some dust over noise.

brakes

keep an eye on those brakes. i had an 04 supercab, and the brakes totally failed at 17000 miles. i was told by the dealer that wasnt possible. and my insurance agent said it is, but until ford admits a problem, im just screwed. the best advice is to replace your pads with aftermarket ones at the very least.
