Bone stock with 3k on the clock the L ran 8.71 It easilly went 8.2's with very simple mods. It now has intake, TB, KB blower, headers, high flow cats, traction mods, tuning......... The list is LONG!

Very good numbers, HB! Now go race a Titan at the strip. Lol.

The next three mods that I was going to do on my truck were the underdrive pulley's, e-fans, and 4.56 gears. However, after careful deliberations, I'm going to save up that money and use that money on a charger. Right now, I'm leaning toward a whipple supercharger. The procharger costs a lot less than a whipple, but the throttle response, lower rpm hp/torque boost, overall adiabatic efficency and drive-ability of the Twin Screw Supercharger is far better than the procharger centrifugal model. Don't get me wrong, the procharger centrifugal model isn't a bad choice at all, but after lurking around several charger forums for the last couple of months, I just think the whipple supercharger is the best buy for our heavy *** trucks at this moment.

Yeah, I have been thinking the same thing. I just want a good product and for it to be safe.

BTW, I wonder what the bottom end can handle as far as HP and TQ #'s? Someone told me 500 at the crank was about all she could do. I have no idea.

Casey,

Those #'s sound about right from driving one and seeing them at the track. No doubt they are easily modded to go much faster.

Nihilism, screw the Titans, I have conquered that hill. I am looking to Stang GT's now. On the street it aint too far off.

If/when you go forced induction(if you can turbo it that would be best!) A turbo will make the most power, and be the easiest on the motor. The BIGGEST key to making it last is the tuning. And that has to start out with the fuel system. Big injectors, big fuel pumps, and a good MAF.

O yeah; we are both on the edge of stock to mildly modded GT's Just depends on the car and the driver.

Yeah, a good driver in a GT can pull a high 13 out of the cra on street tires. Better than that on stickys.

I am going to cheat at the track tonight. I am gonna remove my headlight and see if it lets in some air. Other than that, I am just gonna run it when the engine is cold and hope for an 8.999999.......LOL!!!!

Be glad you didnt go Casey. Although I ran a better time, there was ZERO traction due to the cold weather.

I was clicking of worse 60' times but better ET's and trap speed. Best was a 2.11 60' and a 9.10@76mph. The truck was running strong though. But, traction was horrible. People on slicks were cutting loose.
