Did I Get A Good Deal?

I recently purchased a 2004 Ford F150 Supercrew Lariat. The truck has almost every option and the sticker was $41,567. I paid $30,500 for it. Did I get a good price? The truck has a build date of 7/20/04, were any of the issues fixed by the build date I have??

Sounds like you got a pretty good deal. I take it that that is a new truck and not a used one. I hope you love your truck as much as I love mine!

Welcome to the boards. It sounds like you got a whale of a deal. If you don't assume that your truck is gonna have every little thing wrong that's discussed around here, then you won't be so paranoid. If you do have issues, find a Dealer you trust to do the work for you. Congrats on what I hope is the truck that fits your needs for however long you choose to keep it...Kevin

Sounds like a golden deal, don't tell us you got a 7yr/100k warranty with it??

I have to ask....what color is it??

After that read this for break in.. http://www.oly4x4.com/newgearbreakin.htm The rear is more important than the engine. The engine will take care of itself..

Man, you get these new guys in here bragging about pricing!!!!

niceasssupercrw,

Just messing with you!! You got a great price. I get A-plan pricing and I have the same truck. You paid $2,000 less than I did.

However I have had mine for 1.5 years.

Have fun with your new truck!!!

sounds like you got a great deal! awsome truck, you should be a proud pappa. as far as prob. according to your build date, you should be in the clear. my truck has a build date of 3/04 and so does my dad's super crew and neither one of use has any of the vibe or trans. prob. that i have seen on here. i believe the more prob. trucks has build dates in 2003. good luck with your new truck and congrats!
