Calling GrayFlare or Others w/BRUZERS

I have MB Motoring Bruser's on my truck. I just wanted to find out if your wheels have any weird water marks that won't come off?

My wheels are starting to get these hazy looking scratches on the inside of the wheel on the chrome part only. They wont come off even with polish.

Have you used Westleys bleche white? I made that mistake and now have those water marks you are talking about.

If they're pitting with Westley's, they're almost certainly NOT clearcoated...

This is a critical piece of information to have when you're cleaning ANY type of wheel. Many chemicals on the market are VERY harsh and contain high amounts of acid to release brake dust and such. This acid (typically HF or a sodium compound) will attack many types of metals and won't stop until the acid is neutralized or washed off.

I dont have these marks on mine. I only use soap and water on the wheels and am very careful not to get any tire cleaner or tire dressing on the wheel. I learned that lesson a long time ago on another car that had clearcoated wheels. The chemicals in the tire dressing caused the clearcoat to start cracking. It didnt look very pleasing. I would also mention waxing the painted part will help safeguard the paint but wont protect it fully. Thats what I do.

I had nothing but problems with MB's mirror finish. I have chrome now and still keep a good coat of wax on them.
