More Oil Questions

Hello,
You have prob had alot of oil questions as I can see on the forum. How much oil does my 2004 f150 with the 5.4 take? Some people say 6 and some say 7. I am an exact person and would like to know what it takes. I have 170 miles should I use sythetic at the first 1000 mile oil change?? Thanks for your help

7 quarts will put it in the crosshatches.

Motorcraft 5W20 is a synthetic blend, so it's up to you whatever you want to use as far as oil goes. Search and you'll find lots of info and opinions of oil preference.

And welcome to F150online.com

niceasssupercrw,
Ii would lay off the synthetic until you reach about 3-3500 miles and let your engine have ample time to break in. Just my .02!
