The only truck I bought that still had one on it, the boneheads put it on crooked. It had a "frame" type sticker on the outside the the dealership logo on the inside. The logo was not square with the frame. I thought about leaving it on just to show how stupid the dealership was, but I had an easy transaction with them, so off it came.

I love the look on the sales puke's face when I say "And I'm not taking it if I see one sticker, plate holder, or any other form of advertising on my vehicle... that includes any 'decals' like 4x4 or whatever... " cracks me up.

HAH, you make them take off the 4x4 sticker too, dang you are a hard sale I peeled off all stickers (including 4x4) as soon as I pulled in the driveway! Much cleaner!

I dont mind the plate frame cause I can just take that off easy. But I also refuse to take any vehicle if it has a dealer sticker on it.

rockyjsquirrel, using a blowdryer will take off the stickers on the visors? it almost seems as tho they're ironed on. peeling them off won't hurt the fabric?

I did the same....told them I didn't want the sticker...unless they want to pay me .25 a mile for advertising. The truck had just arrived so they never put it on.

Correct. I learned about it on this forum a few months ago. A hairdryer and a little patience will get them off very easily. Don't pull too hard, let the heat release the adhesive.

When I bought my truck, it came from another dealer via dealer transfer and had their sticker on the tailgate. After peeling it off, the dealer I bought it from put one of theirs on it. I told them I wasn't accepting it if they didn't take that crap off right there, and they did.

I would take the Ford emblems off if I could - for sure.

I did remove all stickers, license plate frames, etc as soon as I got it home.

The problem with the emblems is that they have holes underneath them - or mine would be long gone.

I did order some custom overlays with my the number and style from my MX bike to put over them as the next best thing however.

best way i have found to de badge any vehicle is to use a heat gun and some fishing line (dental flos will work too) and it will take most of the goop off with the badge.... sometimes all the "goop"
