WD40 works okay for removing decals too. 3M makes some stuff that comes in quart cans, I think, "General Adhesive Remover," stuff works like gangbusters.

WD-40 Works on inspection sticker adhesive, and anything else's adhesive... and it's already in your workshop!

BTW- I'm also a member of the 'no advertising decal on my truck' club since 1981...

Uh oh...

I used rubbing alcohol to clean the door handles when I put my TFP covers on but nothing happened to the paint cause Im sure I touched the paint a little bit.

I have heard horror stories about removing the stickers on the visors. I would really hate to have to get them re-done. So is the hair dryer thing a sure bet? Would a Millwakee heat gun be overkill?

Hum. I guess im the odd one out.

I ask the dealer for extra stickers, paper floor mats, etc.

I have an awsome dealer, I don't care to advertise for them.

I asked for a box of paper floor mats and, to my suprise, I noticed a box in the back when I got home. As for the stickers, umm... well... they can keep those. LOL!

The dealership that took delivery of my truck from Overseas Military Car Sales was super nice so I didn't say anything about thier sticker. It did come off easy as soon as I got home though.

RP - Great idea on the paper floor mats, I should have tried that.

Every time I go to my dealer I hit them up for paper mats. I have a surplus of them in the garage right now.

i just took off the death or serious injury crap on my visors. The first one i took off left alot of adhesive and the second big one on the driver visor left only half adhesive and the passenger door left none.Is there any way to get it off? I also took off the dealership sticker and it looks much better

I did some advertiseing for a dealership last year here on my truck. I put a sign in the back window for a few months that said

"I saved 4000 dollars by NOT buying this truck from Superior Ford"

Since they were a-holes the whole time I tryed to deal with them, and got 4g more trade-in at a dealer a few miles away
