Windshield Washer Nozzle

I've had a problem with my passenger side washer nozzle since day one.

Symptom:
At high speeds 55-75MPH the spray pattern on the windshield is not consistent with the driver's side. All the fluid comes out at the very bottom of the windshield. The driver's side works fine, meaning that it will spray a good pattern about center of the windshield.

I took it in to the dealer once for a non-related visit, and they looked at it (supposedly) and said that they could not recreate the problem and that it is ok. BS!!

It's not that big of a deal and I didn't press the issue, but I do plan on having it fixed sometime. Both sides work perfectly when you are setting still or going at slower speeds.

Just curious if anyone else has noticed this?

I've never owned a vehicle where the washers sprayed evenly at 75 mph! It just ain't happenin'. I don't even bother trying to use my washers unless I'm going less than 40 mph, otherwise everything just sprays over the truck and all over the car behind me.

Well, I will admit that this is a minor issue (that's why I haven't said anything else to the dealer about it), but the other side works fine.

Evenly may not be the appropriate term. I should have said that it doesn't spray in the center of the windshield.

I think I know what you mean. My pass. side sprays a little different than my drivers side. But honestly...WHO CARES.. it still get the window wet enough to clean it off and like it was said..at 70+mph your not gonna get a good even spray. Just my .02

Those water jet nozzles are easy to adjust. You use a small sewing needle and stick it down in the hole. You can then move the nozzle up, down and sideways to have it shoot where you want.

my passenger nozzle was spraying slightly differently. I brought the truck in for another reason and figurd I had might as well tell them about it. When i picked the truck up they said that they were ordering a new part for it. The odd thing is it took about a month and a half to get the part in?!?
