Powered mirrors with turn signals?
IT4SMB - I am almost finished with the info on installing power folding mirrors. You don't have to cut a single wire in the F150 to install the power folding mirrors. All you need to do is tap into the fuse box for power and add some wires to the existing harness. Since your vehicle is leased you will have to figure out a place for the switch. I reccomend under the dash so you can remove it at the end of the lease. On another note - do you want to spend money on this modification if you are leasing this truck?
Any of y'all selling your old mirror . .
. . I just had one cracked and need to replace a power, non-heated mirror on my truck. Wouldn't mind buying one y'all took off of your truck if it could easily be reinstalled on my '04 Lariat.

Heater / Signal Mirror Replacement
I've managed, here in new York City, to already trash both the mirrors on my 2006 F-150 SuperCab.
Does anyone have the part numbers for the complete mirrors with the heat and signals?
How much do these babes run and is there any advise on where to get them? I'm assuming my dealer is about the only choice.
How hard is the install? Dealer or driveway?
Thanks,
Courtney

It was a $160 option on my FX4. Definitely the coolest mirrors I ever had on a truck. It is a bit hard to get used to the driver's side mirror dimming when someone gets behind you at night. I got sick of dodging my mirrors when walking by my truck in parking lots, so the power fold feature is worth its weight in gold.

I love power mirrors...they rock! I used to have to weave my F150 into the garage to keep from ripping them off. On my new truck, the mirrors are power folding and power telescoping and have turn signals and are heated. More power options on my mirrors then my first truck had...on the entire truck!

Ok, I just pulled out the box that the replacement mirror came in all the way back in July of 2004, when my F150 was a week old and the car wash up the street broke the glass in my mirror. The part number for the heated driver side mirror with signal is 4L3Z-17683-DAB. The part number for the heated passenger side mirror with signal is 4L3Z-17682-DAB. Here are a couple pictures I just snapped of the broken mirror.

Just got my 07 Larait with both folding mirrors. One of the best features on the truck. It's the first thing I do every time I park. I ordered my truck and through that features in there. Very nice, glad I did.
Signal and heat mirrors
Just an FYI. i HAVE AN 04 xlt with power mirrors that I replaced with 06 Lincoln mirrors in Nov 05. Feb 07 Both Mirrors were damaged in an accident in Pittsburgh. When truck went to body shop I ordered both mirrors, dealer ordered both for 07 FX4 with black caps. Neither of the signals would work. I looked at pins inside of plug, there were only 7 pins instead of 8 like orginal mirrors and Lincoln mirrors have. Dealer did have 2 different mirrors in stock 1 had 9 pins and other had 8. Dealer ordered Lincoln mirrors because I wanted to keep mirrors with chrome caps and both worked. Parts guy at dealer said that there are 7 different part numbers for these signal heated mirrors now. So be careful if you are going to add this option because mirrors may not work like some people think they will.
