Replace the entire seat, order the control module, buttons, etc... Should have ordered it from the factory, it will cost you a fortune to retrofit your truck. Or go get those that sit over the seat. I think I've seen them somewhere.. google!!

This is not a hard job to do. If your handy you should be able to do it yourself. The parts can be purchased on line for less than $400.00

I plan to add these to my truck when time allows. The only 04's they had on the lot that had heated seats when I bought my truck had the center consul which I did not want.

Try heatedseats.com they have prices and instructions.

up here add in heated seats with leather will run you about 300 a seat installed. if you know someone good with trim and wiring buy the kits and do it yourself. kits here are about 125 a side.

Mac.

I believe what DZ meant is that he should have bought a Lariat.

I'm still trying to figure out how someone with a Fx4 would be cultured enough to appreciate a warm bottom.

AKFX42004, don't be offended. Every once in a while the Lariat owners like to snub their noses at the rest of the group.

i work at waterloo Ford

and the thing i didn't like about my choices was, i didn't like the added price for a lariat just for heated seats, i liked the FX4 trim and options more. but it is a huge over site by ford in my opinion not to offer heated seats in the FX4. i didn't bother with them this year and in all honestly when it was 40 below it wasn't that bad. but i am going to put them in next fall.

Mac.

Good mexican food after it has been digested can warm the seats quite well.

Lord you guys are cruel....not everyone could have a Lariat...

For those poor unfortunate souls with the FX4 try the following:

FX 3 1/2 Heated Seats
