New here

Hey all,
Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I recently upgraded my 02 Ranger Edge 4x4 to an 05 Supercab FX4. Must say it is worth every penny. Has everything except for the audiophile system (however, it does have the 6 disc CD and I believe the tweeters), but Im contemplating buying the audiophile sub from the dealer as my first "addition" to the truck.

Anyways, really like the site, and can already tell Ill be spending alot of time here!

Thanks for the welcome guys!

On a side note note, does anyone know where I could get a Audiophile sub? I dont want to do the whole Ebay thing.
The sound is Ok with just the speakers but I need some more bass to round it out. I had a 10" in my ranger and that was almost annoying at times.

Thanks for all the help!

Welcome to the best damn F150 forum there is.... Now on your audiophile question... You have to have the head unit first, then find a sub harness, sub/amp and change out your door speakers to the factory componets, and you most likely dont have tweeters as they are only available with audiophile.. Your best bet is to get an aftermarket head unit, 8 or 10" sub like Probox, or jl stealthbox and an amp... before you go and spend $600-700 on audiophile equipment, then find out you dont have the wiring, look into an aftermarket system... Plus they sound twice as good as the audiophile.... Just my .02..........
Anyway welcome to the place to b...

yeah, i called the dealership and they said that i would have to have the HU and speakers before the sub would work. looks like im going to go with an aftermarket setup. want to try to find something that will fit under the back drivers seat and not take up too much room.....
