please explain the difference between a lariat and a Lincoln LT?
My dealer included a "Customer for Life" program for my truck.
It includes free oil changes, tire rotations, car washes and a lifetime engine warranty (non-transferrable)
Difference is I have to have all regular maintenance done there. Good deal except those 15k, 30k checkups can get pricey. But for a lifetime engine warranty I guess I can't complain.

i wont ever let a dealer maintain my vehicle.... I would much rather do that all myself and always have. The only time I let a dealer touch my truck is for warrenty work... which is where it is right now
cause its a POS. 1200 miles and its already broken on a brand new lariat.

Yea I don't do the car washes....
I'm too busy to do my own oil changes...use to but with kids and work forget it. Figure they are just as qualified as a Jokey Lube people.
I've got horror stories from there.

Lincoln (like Cadillac) should stick to making luxury cars for retiree's living in Florida.
Although I don't find the LT as obnoxious as the Navigator (aka: Family Truckster from National Lampoons Vacation).
Woodgrain decals all over the side to go with all that chrome and we'd be smack dab back in 1973....

While they are doing that, Ford should stick to making worktrucks. Reg cab long box only. Steel dash, no AC, 300 I6 with a 4sp manual on the tree, vinyl benchseat, steel roof, analog AM radio only, 215/15 tires with ugly hubcaps, 4x4 with manual hubs only, absolutely NO carlike amenities.
yeah, why would they want to make the old models appealing to more people... who on earth would ever buy an FX4 or Lariat?
