Finally saw the light

Been a loyal Chevy Truck guy for over 25 years. Usually trade every 2 or 3 years. Chev hasn't changed there truck design in a long time, so I thought I'd check out a Ford.
Reading this forum, kind of pushed me to the edge, so I took the leap, and bought a Ford F150 FX4 Reg Cab Flareside.
Just got it 2 days ago, and so far I couldn't be happier. What a great Truck, and it was cheaper than a similar Silverado.
Glad to be on board!

THat's so they can advertise high resale values--they cost a lot more to begin with...

From one ex-chevy guy to another, welcome

She's Black. Loaded I think. I found the Ford option packages a little confusing.
Audiophile 6 CD Changer.
Deluxe Mirror Package.
Tow Package.
Adjustable foot peddles.
Goodyear tires.
I realy like the look of the truck. The flarside box is great.
I know I'm going to have some questions as I drive it more. So I hope you guys can help.

They look SWEET on that black f150. I have a Bright Red XLT SuperCab XLT....hope they look good on mine as well...I am really needing to find out!

Welcome to the club. Glad to see we have another convert. My dad always drove GMCs when I was a kid, but when it came time for me to get a truck I liked the Fords much more. This is my 3rd F150 and sure it won't be my last.

Welcome!

I think it's a crime that GM has the nerve to sell the Silverado at such a high price when the truck design is so old (current body style introduced 88?) while Ford, Dodge, Nissan and Toyota all have newly designed trucks on the road.

I would never pay that much for a 15 yo design when there are newer styles for the same or less money.
