The Magnaflow should fit your truck just fine. I installed it on my FX4 6.5' Bed, although I did have to cut the stock headpipe, but that is a given cause the exhaust is universal fit. It should fit easily on your truck, just need to cut the headpipe. I had to. I assume you are talking about the SIDO. If not, then someone else may have to chime in, but I believe you will have no problems bolting up to an '04. Later!

My vote is for Borla, I love it. Perfect fit, no cutting.

I just got a leftover 2004 SuperCrew and wanted to know how loud the Borla and Magnaflow cat-back systems are. I don't want anything that is annoying in the cab like my lightning, but something that has a little sound.

dont want to be a smart a$$ but the search will get you alot of answers on this. that being said........

i put the borla on my 04 screw and it went on real easy. maybe an hour to get exhaust off and new on. the old exhaust came off in on piece. i shot some penetrating oil on the clamps and some silicone on the hangars the night before. i then loosened the clamp and one kick and the cat back was heading across the garage. the sound is real nice. with the truck insulated so well it is barely noticeable with the windows up. no droan on the highway at all. my wife used the truck and i heard it pulling away it sounded good. got mine off ebay for a little over 500 bucks. its the single in dual out under the bumper.

i dont think you would be sorry.

The rear exit borla tucks nicely behind the spare tire.

Borla costs too much. I went with the Magnaflow 15834. Got it on sale for wad less than a Borla system.
