Autospring 2-1/2" Installed - The Results!!!
I just came from the dealer and the place where I had the front end alignment after having the Autospring 2-1/2" spacers installed. I have to say I am extremely pleased with the results. The truck looks way better than before and rides really nice, in fact the ride seems a bit better over bumps now (a little tighter).
The Autospring 2-1/2" spacers gave me a lift of 2-3/4". I had a 3=1/4" difference from front to back and now I have a 1/2" which makes this truck look awsome now!!!
The service tech who aligned the front had no problems getting everything into full factory spec, infact all the values are like almost dead center in the factory +/- specifications.
I will post a few pics after I take them. Here are my truck specs:
2004, XLT 4x4, Regular Cab, 8 ft. bed, 4.6L V8.

The service advisor told me that it would not void my warranty, but they would not warrant the spacers and any defects or direct cause of action that they would cause during the event one should fail.
I could understand that, they were very cool about the whole thing. A couple techs have already installed these in there trucks. One tech commented that when he gets his new 05 that is one of the first things he is going to do.
As for the tire question, I was looking at 32 or 33's. Goodyear has a very aggressive all terrain tire that will fit the 17 inch rims I have. He said it was a 32" that was about 10.7" wide. If I go with the 33" the width is 11" wide!
So I will either go with the 32 or 33". The cost was about $220.00 per tire. I think the model was a Wrangler MT, nice aggressive tread.
