Vibe paranoia !!

Dudes I love this forum. I have gotten so much great info but I am seriously paranoid about the vibration starting. I have 300 miles and smooth as glass. I drove over a section of new rough roadwork and I was going 52 mph. I felt the wheel vibrate and I pulled over screaming NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh god NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ah ha ha !!!!!!!!! NO!!!!!!!!!

Whew it was just the road!!! wtf !!! man

So far got ashtray rattle. threw out the insert. it went away.

Got power window rear slider noise . Opened and shut window went away. Still very happy. It is funny five years ago I would have spent weeks trying to find the source of the rattle. As soon as I heard the ashtray I new from reading the post what to do. The insert is on route 347 if you smokers need it.

Thanks to the powere window slider post that helped too.

OK the rear sliding glass is starting to drive me nuts. I noticed that it is the top part that feels loose. I am going to try to jimmy a bit with whether seal until it gets warm and I see the dealer.

Talking Vibochondria!

I have come up with a name for the folks who are paranoid about the vibrations - Vibochondriacs! It is like Hypochondria where you imagine every little ache and pain is a disease but instead you hear a little squeak or rattle and and think "Oh no, it's the vibration starting!". I do not mean to minimize the problems that people who have the vibe are experiencing. Just having a little fun with the subject.

Talking

As a member of the vibe tribe, I can honestly say that I find this funny!!

Vibochondriacs! I wish I was one. :-(

I was sitting here getting ready to call the dealer to see what they have to tell me, and I gotta say, I needed the laugh! I gotta get on the phone and get all sad again.

If you dont notice a vibe in your truck be happy and enjoy it, you cant really enjoy anything if youre always worrying about it. Ill admit after hearing about the vibe I started looking for one in my truck, then realised "look if you dont have it dont look for it and enjoy your new ride". Now Ive had my truck over a year and its still the best truck Ive ever owned and the best riding truck I have ever had the pleasure to sit my fat rear end in. Now go and enjoy your truck and forget about the vibe. Those that have it can tell you its not something you have to look hard for.

RGR above fellas. If you don't have it, don't look for it. You don't want it. I'm glad most people don't have this problem. Enjoy your trucks. I read the "no problem" thread on occasion for inspiration. I'll be there someday, some how.
