2 small hex head screws on the inside of your bed (for each side). One is right above the tailgate strap anchor, the other down towards the bottom of the bed. Obviously you'll have to open your tailgat to get to them.

There are also two clips on the front edge of the light that hold it to the quarter panel. They are tight so be careful when removing or you will crack the lens.

There is no access from under the truck. You have to remove the light to get to the wires.

oops, forgot about those...it's been a long time since I had mine out.

You can easily get wires up there from right below them, I had mine off to run some wires behind them and came up from beneath them. May need a coathanger or fish line though unless you got some stiff wires to run.

edit:misread your last post--yes, you have to take the lights out to get to the wires. Once they're off, it's easy to bring new wires in from underneath..

Hey Dr, Remove the Bolts from the tails and they pop out real easy. FYI the reverse housing is tight in there, so if your going to be drilling there be carefull. My strobes are touching my reverse lights ever so slightly, so try to avoid this. Then run the cables to the front under the truck through any holes you can find to keep them out of the way. To get into the cab I went through a pre-existing hole I found under the passenger side floor molding. Good Luck!

You can get cables up to the light from underneath the truck body, but you will have to remove the light to pull the wires up and connect your wiring.

The reverse housings will be the brightest, if that's what you are seeking

It'd be kinda hard to drill from the lower housing into the middle (reverse) housing. Mine come in from the side.
