Looks like the crumple zones did their job and there isn't much passenger compartment intrustion. Why would someone jump out of the H2?

Around here, H2s are more common than FX4s. Most are driven by women and most likely will never get off pavement. They have replaced Suburbans and Escalades as the soccer mom vehicle of choice.

What is cool to one person is a POS to another. Figure out what you want your vehicle to do and find one that meets the criteria.
You are the one that must determine what is right for you and pay the consequences if you pick the wrong one.

Jeez, you guys are a bit hard on him. I know every time I get a hummer I feel pretty cool...

...oh, wait. You mean he wants the H2 Hummer? Hmmm...

The H2 seems neat but honestly not as practical as a pickup truck. If you're going to off road it a lot the H2 should be pretty capable but I don't see many dirty H2's ever.

In the end get what makes you happy but don't count on your wheels making you cool. Even the most shallow people will figure out whether you're cool or not regardless what you drive.

My .02 cents.

I live and work close to the Ravens (NFL) compound. You see H2s all the time. They are ok but they really aren't the off road beast people think they are.

The H1 is a beast...H2...a little sister

Having driven the H1 when I was in the Air Force I completely agree. I can't help but think the H2 is just a pale imitation.

Well I know this is very unlikely to happen and could happen to anything and even brand new vehicles but I watched a H2 left front wheel and right rear wheel fall off going 55 mph...and it was beat and it was being driven by a woman who was coming back from getting groceries..she was alright though.

pretty damn funny though!

you guys are funny. the truth of the matter is i will never be cool no matter what i drive. in the past i have owned a camaro SS, C5 corvette, and now the FX4 - and have never been cool.
*******i was only kidding about being cool!!!!*******
seriously, this isnt about being cool. and money is not an issue. i'm single, i'm 31, and i make decent money.
i LOVE the FX4, i love it and i havent even modded it. i just think price for price i could have gotten the H2 first.
i would like to see a show of hands of people who have actually driven an H2 (more than out of thier friends driveway) and know what they think. when you drive a H2 you will be surprised at how comfortable it is. i have loved hummers since i was in the army and drove one daily for 4 years. i always said if i could get one of these in the civilian sector, i would love it! well i cant afford an H1, but i can afford an H2. and i think the H3 is a pansy version - i-line 5 220 hp and i really dont like the body. i like the big bulky H2.
besides, my brother is taking over the FX4 for me so its still in the family.
and another thing, my FX4 gets me 14 miles to the gallon right now. why dont you guys brag about that.

I know its off subject but it involves a H2 and is just kinda funny.

I am currently in HS and the HS i go to has many people who drive. One morning i get to school and there are no parking spots so i park in front of this guy i know's hummer. At the time i was driving a 02 Lexus rx300 (whick i sold to get the 04 screw lariat). I figured that he could wait a couple of mins if he even got to his car before me. Well i didnt get to my car before he did so he decided to push my lexus out of the way. The lexus was not mine it was my grandmothers and she was soon to give it to me. Obviously I was pissed off so i made a call to my grandfather. The next day he is parked in the same spot. His rear end was up against a wooden fense. I am now driving an 2000 ford diesel Excursion. I parked in front of him again. At the end of the day again he got to his car before me and he figured he could push me again. well the excursion in park defeated te hummer alone. I got in the excursion while he was still spinning his tires ...and started the excursion. Flipped the 4x4 switch and began to push. I didnt stop untill his rear end was one with the fense behind it =). AHHH good times in HS.

Ford rules man ..and as far as utility wise im going to say hands down that F150 fx4 is going to be more powerful and usefull than that hummer will every be. Then again if you really like something or that is your taste in a vehicle then go for it. I would hope that the hummer could be able to get though whatever you would need 4x4 for. Also if you can affod to pay for it/insurance/GAS...GAS, then you should get what makes u happy.

I went from a lexus to a ford. and even tho i got the luxery ford(ford dont know the meaning of luxery compared to lexus)I went with what i felt was what i wanted and I couldnt be more pleased. Ive got the most envied vehicle at my HS. People want to pay me to use my truck for prom(ive got rims/system and stuff) so my point is do what makes u happy.

sorry for the rambling

TOO FUNNY

actually, my saying when i had my corvette was "the sex wasnt very good, but the ride to the hotel was the shiznit"

and my screen name on corvetteforum.com:

ImCompensating

i have to admit. when i bought my truck it only took me 1 day to pick up some new flavor. my corvette only impressed guys. girls love trucks for some reason. and only 1/3 of the girls i asked actually like hummers. good thing i am buying it for me and not them.
