Why Me?!?!?!?!

On my way to work this morning I was driving eastbound on the inner most lane of a 10 lane interstate with a center concrete divider. Well it was snowing very lightly and it was kinda slick (not a problem for people that actually know how to drive in the winter) . Anyway, somebody in a mercury cougar on the wesbound side decided to "nascar" it into the concrete barricade about 1 second before I passed on the other side sending ice, snow and debris straight up into the air and down onto my f150!!! Now I have a broken grill and flat fins on the A/C condensor not to mention whatever other damage I may find later.

Would any of you guys have a grill for sale? Doesnt really matter what style, but I would prefer a lariat or stx honeycomb grill, but would consider a fx4 style.

Thanks!!!
Brandon

That's a bum deal. I'd do a classified search for the grille.
though i would just get one from Ford real quick and easy.
Good luck with the outcome...

It could be a lot worse!

Look on the bright side, at least you are not the other guy that hit the wall! If I were you, I would use this opportunity to justify upgrading to a really cool billet grill!

I was thinking about what happened - if there hadn't been a center divider there I would have more than likely had a head on collision...........

I guess a broken grill isnt all bad

You are lucky, these are hard to come by. I had to pay $300 to the dealer for one.

A new grill is $300 my deductible is $250, not worth raising my rates for that. Right now I am hoping to track down a police report of the accident hopefully in order to file a claim against the other driver..........

The other guy should be responsible, after all it was his debris that hit you. Unless you kept driving and have no idea who it was. I am sure he got ticketed.

Go to the Police station and have your name added to the accident report of the Mercury. I know in Missouri you would be part of that accident and the other drivers insurance should cover your damages. Any object set in motion by a vehicle and that object strikes another vehicle is considered and accident. It would be worth checking into.
