2006 Ford Vehicle Specs Released Tomorrow On Ford.com

I went to my dealership today to ask them about voiding my warranty with an exhaust system and they told me that in no way would it void my warranty. While chatting with the dealer I brought up the 2006 trucks and asked him what the horsepower torque and everything was going to be. He told me that tomorrow they are releasing on fords website all the information about the 2006 vehicles including the new car the "fairlane". I thought you all might want to know about this. Im not sure if this is old news to you but it is news to me so I figured it might be news to some of you. So go check out their website tomorrow and see what the 2006 officially from ford has to offer.

Quick question:
Went to meineke today and got a quote on dual exhaust. They said I can get the 40series flowmaster with 3inch pipes and the choice of design on my tips for about $600. Does this sound right?

Waaaaaay too high, especially for a system that they will fabricate themselves. My guess is $300-$400 would be fair.

That quote is way out of line, also, i had my stock muffler replaced with a Flowmaster 40 series, the drone sound that i get inside the cab drives me crazy, as soon as i get it out of the body shop, i am going to have it replaced with something more mello.
Out the door i paid 150.00 for the muffler and installation.

I paid about $550 for the same setup, but that was a year and a half ago and they had never worked on the new body style before. I also didn't have time to shop around and went to the first shop that could take me. If I were getting it done know, I would expect to pay no more than $400. Also, I love my 40 series muffler!

ok this is just my opinion. the 2006 lincoln thats coming out says that it has 300 horsepower and 365 ft lbs of torque. and everything else seems to be the same as the f150. so the question is.....why wait for them to put something on the website when its already available?? this info has been out for a while now. just my .02
