Stupid rear window

I'm new here, so don't kill me if this question has already been asked.

I took delivery of a 2004 FX4 supercab last week and all was well for the first 15 miles (yup, it's a Ford alright). There is an anoyying shaking sound coming from the rear of the cabin and I am 90% certain that the stupid rear sliding window is vibrating in its track.

Does anyone else have this problem? It's extremely anoyying... Is there a quick fix or should I take it back to a Ford dealer for them to mess it up even worse?

Thank you!

I have the same problem mine is at the dealership now. I've had the slider open and closed it does it either way. Mine sounds like the window is about to fall out on rough roads. I'll let you know what they find.

Thank you, I knew I was not alone on this issue. I've had terrible luck with local Ford dealerships though... *crosses fingers*

Hey Penquin.... where are you from in NJ? Just curious 'cause I hate all the dealerships around here and can never get anything done from them. I always end up going to Connecticut to the dealership my brother works at.

Im all the way south, near wildwood.

Had my entire rear window assembly including power slider replaced by the dealer no questions asked.

My rear window is rock solid. It's not like you bought a Ford GT and can't drive it because the wheels may fly off...

mmm....if u have rattle involving the whole rear shell assembly dont expect it to be fixed soon. Backordered from detroit, dunno when its gonna be shipped. Ah well, just drive with the radio up,thats what ive been doin, ya wont hear it. Its a great solution unless the lady is in the truck and then she wants to talk or something

I got my truck back from the dealer they said they couldn't find anything but they put it all back together and it wasn't doing it anymore (i don't know what they took apart) I've drove it for 2 days now and have not heard it. So just take yours apart then put it back together....lol Sorry thats all I got.

the dealer i went to did the one tsb for the rattle and fixed that problem, but like dumb*****, did not do the other tsb for the squeek that i also complained about. so when they did that, they broke the window regulator and did not tell me, so my window got stuck open. now lets see what happens with vist number 4.

I found the TSB on the sliding window. Where can I find the TSB on the rear window shell? Everytime I drive my truck down bumpy streets it sounds like my rear window wants to fall out
