Question vibration

has anyone with the vibration put on a dampening kit? Took it to the dealer to replace the u-joints, low and behold, the truck already had the new u-joints put on when they changed the driveshaft. Dealer says that Ford claims the dampener to be the fix. Is that really a fix or a mask. held offon ordering the kit because I am considering filing with the dsb. He says that if I don't let them try the dampening kit thart I will probably lose my case with the dsb. Any helpful advice would be greatfully appreciated.

I havn't heard of the dampening kit fixing any vibration.

You need to let the dealer do as much as he can to fix it, at least 4 trys in my opinion or tell you there is nothing more they can do before you submitt info to the DSB. They will help you it just take a lot of patients. It took me 10 months from my first visit to the dealer before my buy back through the DSB.

The 30lb rubber disk dampening kit attached to the rear frame did nothing for my driveline vibration. I was told it was designed for the rebounce problem but it did not help that either. I called it Voodoo engineering and the service manager agreed.
