Well, my 04 XLT 4.6L SCAB is in the shop for the infamous vibration (2nd vist and hopefully last) and the dealer was nice enough to put me in a 05 almost identical to mine. (You don’t realize how much you use your running boards until you don’t have them)

I’m a bit disappointed in this 05. Here is what I’ve found:

1) Vibration issue still exists with the 05 year model. (At least this one)
2) They took out the “noise dampening material” from the engine compartment. Makes the truck sound almost as loud as a *SHOCK* chevy
3) No more overhead rail system, at least in this XLT. I know you can add it as an option, but come on!
4) The moved the back interior light to the middle. Hard to see anything in the back seat at night.

Just thought I would share….

Good luck on the vibe. I was told by the FSE that the vibe is normal. Their words "operating as designed". It was the 7th and last time in. I pray the DSB will resolve this issue. I refuse to spend my own money fixing the driveline problem.
