Tough trucks.

Well i am currently fighting with Ford.

But I have to say these trucks are definitely tough.

I was following my buddy who has the same truck that I have, a SCREW 5.4. He was going through an intersection when a 16 year old blasted through 5 lanes of traffic and nailed him. She hit him square in the drivers side front tire. It shattered the little cap over the lug nuts, scratched the rim, and bent his front bumper.

The little blondes Lexus lost its nose cap, and bent the hood.

Well he drove it away.

There was a policeman who witnessed the action. She was cited. Her statement however said my buddy who was 2nd in line at the light, in the far right merge lane hit her. And that the light was green when she went through the intersection.

They are built Ford Tough.

Nope. She was just a bad driver.

I think the main cause of the accident was "inexperience".

Buddy's fine, took off work today to get ready to go cub scout camping in Mississippi tonight.

He wouldn't happen to be going to Camp Salmen in Kiln, MS would he? I used to live in Harvey, LA and was a member of Pack/Troop 601. Camping in MS was real fun when we did it.

I bought my Ford due to the way they survive accidents. My brother has a body shop and another truck hit a new F150 in the left front hard. Even though all the sheet metal had to be replaced and the truck that hit it was totaled, the frame withstood the hard side impact with no damage. Toughest frame I have seen on a regular size vehicle of any kind.

I live in a fairly affluent area.

I grew up in a farm town in Ohio, with a population of 5000.

I have never seen so many BMW's and Lexus's. And that is only the teenager's around here.

The neighbor girls boyfriend has a suburau WRC look alike, that I really think hauls some butt. But they both just go thier licenses about 3 months ago.

I had to have a little talk about going 40 in the 20 mph zone in our subdivision.
