:santa:HI folks,it's me again, curious question for you. In nova scotia we have to have our vehicles inspected yearly,Do you guys also have to do this yearly or only when you sell the vehicle? Also we have to register them every two years for aprox$150.00.
Thanks for the imput. just like to make comparisons is all. Thanks.

There is no inspections in California - except that every other year you have to get it smog checked (darn I miss the diesel 350 already) - and we pay way more than 150 for registration every year.

In Massachusetts I think it's around $28 yearly for a full safety and smog inspection. Back in Kentucky it was dependent on what city you lived in.

PA - Inspection $14 (+ emissions $20) and registration yearly ($80). The emissions is such a scam. they test to see if the gas cap is sealing properly.

The great state of Michigan requires nothing but money to keep your car on the road! No silly inspections, lame-o emissions tests (talk of bringing them back), or nuttin! Send in your check and get your new tags year after year!

I love this state!

OK dumped inspections. They were a joke anyways. A few extra bucks would have almost got any vehicle passed.

You have to have an AIR inspection here after 3 years on new vehicles. It costs $27.50 (I think).

There is no safety inspection, you can be dragging a muffler and sticking your foot out the door for a Fred Flinstone stop from lack of brakes and you won't get hassled, but if you are poofing smoke you are in bbbeeeeeiiiiiiiiggg trouble.

Plates are out of this world here and are according to the taxable value of the vehicle.

My new FX4 was $690 the first year. It goes down somewhat each year.
