skyjacker lift question
I purchased the skyjacker lift spacers for the front springs. The pictures for these spacers look the same as the daystar brand. What differences are there between the two? Is one better than the other? The part #'s on the Skyjacker spacers were M03456 and M03457. The main part # was FF25
Install was pretty simple.

install upper strut isolator mount onto strut assembly

reinstall strut top bolts 17mm
I had to use a pry bar to get the lower strut mount in place to rebolt it in, but it did go. Didn't have to remove sway bar. I also used a big vice grips clamp to get the spindle aligned with the upper ball joint stud.

Total time for driver side about 1 hour with pictures and all. It took less than 1/2 hour for passenger side.
Sorry, forgot to take measurements, but it looks like the front is a little tiny bit higher than the rear...

What is main difference in the DayStar/Skyjacker leveling kit/spacers and the AutoSpring ones?
I can see from the install pics that the DayStar route requires compressing the springs - and the Autosprings do not.
While it appears they both give the same result in ride height, Is one kit better than the other in terms of reliability, strength, etc?
Thanks for any help you can give, as I really need to level out my new truck soon, I hate the hot rod, lifted back end look.

Autospring is a spacer between the spring/shock assembly and the frame.
Daystar is a spacer that becomes part of the spring/shock assembly. Compressing the spring for install basically pre-loads the spring and raises the spring rate but shortens it.
The former basically retains the stock spring rate and full range of motion.

Part one is similar to the autospring because it is mounted above the strut or "between the spring/shock assembly and the frame."
Part two, does compress the spring because it is installed between the spring and upper strut mounting plate.
see picture below
with new wheels
centerline crossfire 17x8.5 with goodyear 305/70/17 mtr
2.5" skyjacer/daystar level it it doesn't rub turning full turn to either side but I haven't had it off road.
