I have the DVD somewhere at home. It also shows a Tundra and a GM. It was part of the product rollout.

Larry's right. Marketing hype!!! I'd like to see two ACTUAL owners hook up and go at it, though!!!

and a straight tug -o - war is only a measure of traction, not engine power.

Given the same tires.... then isn't traction part of the towing equation? I mean, what good is a two-truck that can put the power to the ground?

I'd stilll like to see it.

Seems to me both trucks would just start spinning their tires, with the heavier one easing forward...hook up a couple large trailers loaded down and then have a drag, then you'll know whos tougher......

If two guys are trying to pull each other and one gives it too much gas and breaks traction then you are right its a traction battle. But if both have the same tires and gradually increase pull then I think it would be a fair measure. Or at least pretty cool to see. But once someone breaks the tires loose its over, unless both are spinning em.

BIGTRUCK311, I have hooked to a hemi, 4x4 with 20" rims and street tires. On a paved pad locked in 4wd. My truck has 167k on it. The Hemi was brand new. I didnt pull him, and he didnt pull me... until my frontend went. and this went on 10 min or more befoer this happened. he couldnt believe it, he actually admitted he was embarrased that he couldnt pull a 4.6L
