You asked about wait in the back....
I live in Ottawa, Canada... and we know snow!..lol
Went over to the local Sand and Gravel place and loaded 360 lbs of sand bags into the back over the axel, and right away you can feel the difference. My wife was complaining about the traction, and I was contemplating new winter tires ( Running those stock crap Generals), but with the extra weight, she is now happy!
Have done this on all my trucks, and can really feel the results in the back end.
