Since I lifted my truck, I noticed that I have this pattern on my wheelwell guards (the plastic things in the wheelwells). I don't have a pic of mine but I found this pic of sombody else's truck (that looks fantastic) on another Ford truck site and noticed that he had the same thing. Does everyone have this? How do I get rid of it? If RP's around I would definately appreciate your opinion. Thanks guys and gals.

 

You can use some vinyl protectant to dress the wheel well, this will hide the patterns. When I wash mine out, the same patterns will show up after drying.

I'm not sure my truck has EVER looked that clean. Righ now my wheel wells have a pattern, but they look more like a Rorschach test. Damn gravel roads...

 

How to get rid of it? Go hunting...

 

Spray paint. Or mud. Either should work great.

 

My '01 and '03 Cobra's had the same pattern, but my '04 FX4 does not have the pattern at all... regular cab and the wheel wells have been washed plenty!
