I got mine from Motorhaven.com. They are also a sponsor here (the 'online store' link at the top of this forum) but I got a discount code from the 'other' forum which brought the price down to $349 including overnight shipping.

I'm running regular gas with my Diablo tuner. The instructions say that I may need to retard the timing advance by as much as 15% from the 'performance tune' in order to run regular. I backed mine off 10% and do not have any pinging whatsoever. For my $349 I get much better power, much better shifting, better throttle response, slightly better fuel economy and the ability to fine tune dozens of perameters as well as read the diagnostic engine codes.

IMHO I think anyone even slightly interested in the performance and maintenance of their truck would be foolish to go without a tuner. See how many people you can find who have owned a tuner in the past and now don't own a tuner. Once you get it, you wonder how anyone can own a truck without one.
