PC,
Curious why you went with an 18" wheel and not a 17"?

Already had the 18" wheels. At first I tried keeping them with bigger rubber but ended up with wider wheels also.

What made you switch to wider wheels?

The fact that I had to use 1/4" spacers up front and unwanted tire contortion. It looked good but it felt unsafe.

PC...Did you have to pay extra for the centercaps? Did you buy the wheels and tires from Discount Tire Direct?

Centercaps were included but I had to buy a set of wheel lugs unless you have the already. I got them from Discount Tire Co. at a local America's Tire Co. here.

porkchop,
Are yours the mirror finish or the chrome. If they are the mirror finish, do you have to polish them?

Did you buy the lugs from DT? If you don't mind me asking...how much did you pay for everything? Did you get a better price than what is shown on their website? Thanks for all your help.

Which is the prefered type.....mirror machined or chrome? I noticed that Discount tire lists both in that size with the chrome being approx. $30 more per wheel.

Wheels were $143 each and lugs were $1.50 each including mounting and balancing. They are the mirror machined and have the tiny grooves in them. Just remember to follow the grooves when washing (light detergent only). I haven't polished them yet. They are easier to maintain than straight polished wheels.
