Sometimes my display will show radio station call letters and other times just random letters or numbers.Does anyone else have this and if so what do the random letters represent.

Well, it's supposed to show you song titles, promos & other text the station pumps out. Instead, you get garbage. I get the same thing on many stations around Detroit. Visteon still hasn't been able to master the simple concept of RDS. Go figure!

 

Yep, like I said in my other post, probably 5% of the time I get the right song title or artist, but pretty much 95% of the time it's GARBAGE showing....I'd rather have it read nothing than a bunch of mumbo jumbo. Often I get passengers ask if it's broken or just plane 'what does that mean' :o
