Chrome or Black Nerf Bars

I need some help. I have a 2004 Black SCAB with factory chrome rims. I've been debating for days now on whether to get chrome nerf bars or black powder coated ones. Anyone have any photos of their black truck with either bars?
Thanks

Just my .02 cents

Chrome rims, chrome bumpers??? I would go with chrome to set it off.

I know it is the old style but gives you an idea.

Good luck with your choice.

Do you have chrome or painted bumbers? If chrome, then I'd opt for the chrome runners. A black truck with small amounts of chrome is a very sharp looking truck. Black is the best looking color on a truck IMO as long as its YOURS and not MINE bc I don't want the headache of keeping it clean.

I'd opt for the chrome too. It complements black nicely. Throw in some chrome bed rails too while you're at it.

If your bumpers are black go with black but if they are chrome go with chrome .

I decided on black powder because there isn't a lick of chrome on my truck with the exception of the wheels.

Th anks

Buy the black, the chrome ones always rust and it dosen't take any time before it looks like crap,, unless you are one of those guys that is always waxing the thing and then the chrome one is ok just my 2 cents worth::: (littledouce)

since you already have chrome bumpers, I would say chrome nerfs.

I went with black nerfs, but i have the shadow grey with painted bumpers.

Go with chrome, they look awesome. I have a blue FX4, so not really any chrome, and I wasn't sure if I liked it, but I love them now, plus I get a ton of compliments on them. Now that I have the Chrome Westin Bull Bar, it looks complete. Definitely go with chrome.

BLACK

They're not as noticeable and IMO they look better. I just don't like a lot of chrome on a truck.

I'm glad I'm not the ONLY one who agonizes over these decisions!!! I'm strongly leaning toward black myself. I LOVE chrome, but I just don't see investing in chrome that I step on...

The chrome ones have a black step on the top of them. I see your point though.
